I painted this still life in a workshop with an artist I admire, Qiang Huang. He put one small spot of bright red orange on the peach and made my day.

Dear Sister Lilly, I too did a workshop with Quiana Huang and think he is a wonderful instructor, painter, and person. I learned so many tips from his demos, etc. I have been following your daily paintings and enjoy your work, your subject matter. Thank you, Joyce

I am so glad to know you as a fellow Huang workshopee, Joyce. He really challenged me, and you are right…I think what I enjoyed most was that he is a wonderful person. Thank you for your kind comments.
